Chef Benny Doro

I grew up with a German father and Japanese mother and lived South Korea, Japan, Germany, Vietnam and Canada. I was fortunate enough to be exposed to a wide variety of good food but not so much that it was taken for granted. It initiated my passion to explore all foods and develop my culinary skills. I am not in the business but have taken courses, taken extensive culinary journeys and have some top Vancouver chefs as friends. Living in Vancouver I have access to some fantastic ingredients (it's Uni season now and Matsutake just finished) so I am now making everything Uni. I have like minded friends and family so they consider themselves lucky that I like to cook for them where in fact I consider myself the fortunate one to have loved ones that I can share and indulge with. I look forward to gaining knowledge and sharing anything that might be of interest to others. Cheers.
