Marinated Grilled Sword Fish with Broccoli Rabe (Custom)
Here is my take on a Spanish marinade that LIFTS this amazing fish to a new level. You will feel like you’re sitting on the patio of a restaurant in Barcelona enjoying some good wine and eating this amazing dish.

Marinated Grilled Sword Fish with Broccoli Rabe

Ingredients

  • Sword Fish cut into half inch thick pieces

Marinade:

  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • Juice of a lime
  • Garlic clove chopped
  • One shallot chopped
  • Half a roasted red pepper chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Pinch of red chilies
  • Teaspoon of honey

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blitz until purred. Take sword fish steaks and pour marinade over them covering completely. Let sit in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.

Cooking Method:
Hot Grill, cook sword fish about 3 min each side until slightly caramelized remove from heat and tent with foil on a plate.

Broccoli Rabe:
Blanch Broccoli Rabe and put aside . Heat pan with olive oil, place slices of garlic in hot oil until golden then remove add some crushed red chilies and add a handful of Broccoli Rabe and sauté until heated and you can smell the flavors tossing a few times in the pan.

To plate:
Place the Broccoli Rabe on the center of the plate. Get a Sword Fish Steak and place on top. Garnish with lemon wedges and drizzle of good finishing Olive Oil.
