From the land of Spain somewhere in my travels I came across this recipe and have been making often and it is just delicious and simple to make. This I love as a snack while watching the game and is perfect with a cold beer.



Chick Pea and Chorizo

2 servings


  • 1 cup Chick peas
  • ¾ cup chopped chorizo of your choice
  • 4 cups Fresh spinach
  • Bread crumbs


Take the chick peas and chorizo and put together in a hot for about 20 min until the chick peas get crispy.

Don’t stir to often you want them to get crisp. Now after 20 min or so set aside and in the same pan leaving the chorizo fat add the spinach and cook until wilted about 2-4 min.

Now add back the chick pea and chorizo mixture and incorporate together.

In a pan or some sort of cast iron ramekin place some of the mixture and top with bread crumbs.

Now broil until golden and eat!
