Ingredients
- 6 oz cod filet
- one leek trimmed and cleaned
- bamboo steamer
- olive oil
- kosher salt
Directions
Start by taking your cleaned leeks making sure there is no dirt on them and in a pan with some olive oil and kosher salt braise them at 325 degrees for about 20 min or so until it is soft all the way through, take out and let cool.
Now take your cod filet and cut it into 3/4inch chunks and set aside. Good time to make your sauce, mix the soy, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil together and set aside.
Now cut the leeks into 2 inch strips as you can see in the photo. Now lay a piece of the cod at one end and roll it tight and secure with a toothpick. Do this for the rest and get your water boiling. Now place as many as you can in the steamer making sure they dont touch and steam for about 6-8 min or until fish is done should not take longer than that. Plate a few on a plate and drizzle some of the sauce on. Simple, healthy and delisious!
