Welcome to one of our favorite places for a quick snack here in Beyrouth. I call this place the Denny's of Lebanon as its kinda like  a diner but this food will blow you away and is very inexpensive...I only wish I had one of these back in New York. I was also lucky to be there on the 2nd day of thier new menu and plates so lets start with some of the fun menu photos which are very amusing.

Next is probably the best way to wash away any of that vodka that may be lingering around with some fresh squeezed orange juice in a chilled glass friggin perfection.

ok now for some food, here is a order of flat bread with Zahtar which is thin, crispy and just gosh darn perfect for slathering with any of the dips that are to follow.

Next is something that lands on the table pretty much the minute you sit down you can expect this at every meal.

and now for more silly menu humor that I just loved!

and now for some food, here is a egplant/tomato dish that tasted like is had some sumac as seasoning and I could get a hint of garlic as well. The Rice was light and fluffy this dish was a must to get next time and i believe it was one of the specials of the day.

and now for some Dolmades, not the best we have had but would certainly do in an emergency.

here is two chick pea dishes the fabulous and often screwed up version in North American "Houmus" and my new favorite is a mix of almost a refried chick peas and cooked chick peas with garlic and onion I will get the official title and update this.

I will leave this first blog post with some more of those wacky menu pages which one of these had me laugh I spewed my freshly squeezed juice out my nose.
